Hi! My name is Sophia Salesky. My friends call me Soph but never Sophie. I grew up in the Bay Area which is code for living in Marin County and going to school in San Francisco. My family is loud and very welcoming; two attributes you often find describing Jewish families. My parents met on Highway 101 if that tells you anything. My dad always says I was the one he thought would turn him grey. When I was little, I never hesitated to move to the beat of my own drum. I would not BUDGE from the spotlight. I guess when people started to laugh at my mischief and silliness, I never wanted it to stop, and I think that’s how I got into acting. But I really found my passion for the art when I realized that the stories I was telling could actually insight change in real life.
